At EllenDavis Interior Design, great interior design is our business and our passion. We believe that a house becomes a home when it’s personalized – your space should show off your tastes and personality, work with your lifestyle, and maybe make your guests a little jealous. We know that creating a home or office interior that does all of these things isn’t easy, and we’re here to help.
Our talented designers brings over 8 years of experience to the table, couch, coffee table, or whichever furniture piece we’re sitting near. From discovering your personal style to knocking down that wall that’s been preventing the open-concept living area you’ve been lusting after, we’ll make sure that your space isn’t just aesthetically pleasing, but also a reflection of you.
Belle Yemofio is the Founder and Creative Director of EllenDavis Interior Design. Now based in Accra, Ghana, she started her early career life in the United States. Belle was raised by hardworking parents who were both creative in their own unique ways. Her Dad as an architect has been designing all his life and her mum used to knit and crochet various pieces for the home. This kind of design environment created the right creative ambiance which was further enhanced by two brothers who are also architects and a sister who is a confectioner.
Belle began her career as a banker. Over the years she spent time decorating various apartments spaces for family and friends, and eventually her own home. She has a penchant for scouting through decor shops for creative, antique and unique pieces where ever she found herself around the world.
After thirteen plus years in banking, Belle finally made her transition to Interior Design. She has spent the last eight years immersing herself in what she considers as her Creative Calling.
Currently, in the 2023-2024 International Property Awards she scrapped three awards as the best residential interior apartment Africa, the best residential interior apartment Ghana, and the best interior design website Ghana.
And also, within the month of June 2022, Belle has swept two (2) international awards as the best luxury residential interior designer in Ghana for the 14th annual of the prestigious Luxury Lifestyle Award, USA and the She Achiever in Interior Design in Africa for the African Women Award organized in Egypt by The Business Executive, Ghana and the African Business Council.
In November 2021, she was conferred an award as the Most Respected CEO in Interior and Exterior design in the 4th edition of the Ghana Industry CEO Awards. In May 2021, she emerged the most outstanding female in interior design in The 7th Feminine Ghana Achievement Awards with her astonishing and relentless achievements in the industry. Hence, this has attracted some traditional media in Ghana and beyond to feature her in magazines. She has also been granted various interviews in Ghana and the UK.
She has been featured in international publications such as the Inaugral issue of the FORBES AFRICA magazine The List (SMALL GIANTS) June/ July 2024, the Business Executive magazine (issue no. 105, 2021), the Maiden Glitz Africa Living Magazine, Dream Magazine Africa, Humble Beginning Stories (Hbesonline Blog)

I came across Ellen Davis Interior Design on Instagram. I was fascinated at the videos of their work. It was even more amazing when I met with Belle; She was articulate, passionate and professional and immediately earned my trust. I had no doubt to entrust the entire apartment renovation to Belle and ‘walk -away’ for 4 weeks. Something I would ordinarily not have done without agreeing on a concept at least. Returning back to my apartment after 4 weeks was a pleasant surprise and I was stunned with the detail and professional touch to the entire renovation exercise. She chose the blinds furniture, wall paint and accessories. What even amazed me was that she handpainted the walls herself. She is truly creative and passionate about her work.
